Dual Affinity ReTargeting (DART)
MacroGenics has developed a set of antibody-like scaffold molecules with dual specificity (diabodies) that assemble with a predictable stoichiometry, are stable, and can be produced with good yield. Several possible leads have been developed including some based on the anti-CD32B concept of co-ligating the inhibitory receptor to exploit its physiologic inhibitory function, while others to redirect effector cell function against specific targets. Both approaches are applicable in indications such as cancer, autoimmune and inflammatory disease and allergy.
