Fc Variants 

MacroGenics has created a panel of proprietary Fc variants that, along with testing in its proprietary Fc receptor transgenic models, preferentially bind the CD16A and CD32A receptors and enhance the immune activity of cancer monoclonal antibodies. Tumor modeling studies have shown that monoclonal antibodies containing these particular site-specific modifications have enhanced anti-tumor activity. Our first antibody lead that incorporates this Fc engineering technology will initiate clinical testing shortly.
