Title of Position:  Quality Control Analyst

Location:  Rockville, MD

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience with Bachelors degree, or 2-4 years with Masters degree.  Experience in one or more of the following areas: Quality Control, Environmental Monitoring, Analytical Development, Analytics, or GMP production. GMP/GLP and biopharmaceuticals experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proven leadership skills; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with others. 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing routine analytical biochemical assays under cGMPs to support release, characterization, and stability testing of raw materials, production intermediates, and products
• Performing Environmental Monitoring, from sample collection through analysis to support GMP manufacturing processes.
• Assisting with developing, establishing, and validating testing methodology
• Writing Standard Operating Procedures and other GMP documentation
• Maintaining the analytical laboratory
• Providing analytical support to Process Development and Research as needed
