Title of Position:  Manufacturing Manager

Location:  Rockville, MD

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• BS or MS in a relevant scientific discipline with a minimum of 8 years industry experience.
• Hands on experience in a GMP manufacturing environment and thorough knowledge of GMP guidelines and quality systems.
• Good understanding of the drug development process and biopharmaceutical manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work cross-functionally in a GMP manufacturing department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects.
• Ability to analyze data, draft and edit technical reports.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage all aspects of contract-out manufacturing activities with CMOs.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Facilities and QA to support equipment and systems validation.
• Provide technical review of validation protocols and manufacturing batch records both pre and post execution.
• Assist in quality investigations
• Coordinate process validation planning and execution. 
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Assist in developing operating budgets
